The character I Loved the Most in The Flight of the Conchords
Tuesday, July 21st, 2009Favoritism might be deplorable in professional world but as a fanatical admirer of The Flight of the Conchords TV show; nobody can prevent me from penning down my feelings of my most admired characters on this laugh riot. To kick a football with utmost speed and force, follow through is the most essential aspect and a television comedy is no different. The speed and flow of plot, and actor’s dialogue delivery make a comedy show work or be rubbished by its fans. The Flight of the Conchords had a follow through that can be compared to smooth swing of Golf Prodigy Tiger Woods when he hits the golf ball.
Let me introduce you to the name of my most loved character in The Flight of the Conchords TV show. I almost worship the character of Murray the manager of the band of the comedy duo composed of Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie who are playing fictionalized versions of themselves in this TV show. Murray is a hilarious character for sure. He has sparse knowledge of music industry. He also believes in a number of misconceptions, which trigger several comical incidences. He is more than eager to offer a piece of his invaluable advice. He has a fixed routine of calling roll call to mark attendance of Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie before any meeting. This routine of his is disliked by both the band members and often results in atmosphere of bewilderment and disarray. A dramatist has to enter into shoes of the character to come out with such unique concepts. Great to see their thoughts materialize into a real nerd like Murray.
Without any disregard to the great acting talent and comic timing of Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie in The Flight of the Conchords, I am discussing about character of Murray in this TV show, as the character has impressed me enough to pen my thoughts about it. Murray is a real joker. We all love to associate with jolly beings. To make my association with Murray and the funny band of Flight of the Conchords TV show I exploited the golden chance to download my favorite episodes from this website. Murray looks clear and sounds exactly as good as I got to see him when the original episodes were airing.
