Flight of the Conchords is one of the rare series that became a hit the moment it went on air. Ever since the series completed its first season, I have been waiting for the second season. And now finally it’s time and the series is ready with its second season. The second season, of the series will the hit the screen on January 18, 2009.

Now that if you guys can remember, where the last season ended, I am sure your curiosity would be doubled as to what will happen of Bret and Jemaine whose band manager Murray has left them and now they must pursue their music career by themselves. Well, I am dying to see what will be their next step in order to get fame and also to listen to their songs. Songs have always been a crucial part of the series and one can not imagine this series about songs. This season also will have lots of songs but the only difference is that last season they were developing a show that could support their music and this season it is going to be music that will support their show. But anyways songs that have been on the show have always been meaningful ones and have always been loved.

This season fans have another gift from the creators of the show. The songs that will appear in the second season will be made available to the viewers on iTunes the very next day after they appear on the show. So now the fans of the series can enjoy the songs of the series and this year Bret and Jemaine have come up with lot of new songs for the series.

The second season of the series will have ten episodes in it and this is also going to be their last season of the series, too. Now that is sad news for the fans of the series. But still I would like to say that for the moment we should concentrate on the second season and enjoy that. So let’s arrange our schedules accordingly and enjoy the second season of the series, with Bret and Jemaine.
